Devil's Food with Vanilla Frosting

As mention, one of the goal for the week is to bake a cake. Never make one before so I resorted to using those "make ready" cake mixture powder from the local supermarket. All I need to add into the chocolaty powder is 1 1/3 cup of water, 1/2 cup oil and 3 eggs. Using a Kitchen Aid blender, I give the cake mixture a good stirring and pour the mixture into 2 baking loaf pans.

50mins at 325 degrees, out came the well baked "Devil's Food", the name given for this particular chocolate cake. Ha ha...come to think of it, using pre-mix cake powder to bake a cake is really "EASY AS A PIECE OF CAKE".

The only mistake I made was spreading the Vanilla frosting between 2 layer of sponge way too early while its still warm. Failure to follow proper cooling down exercise for the cake result in melted frosting that drip down the side of the sponge. Will take note the next baking session.

"Its Black..."

"Its White..."

"No Matter If Its Black Or White"
