Dear Blog,

Just another moment that I suddenly feel like writing blog in an impulse basis. Adhoc, impulse, out of the moment, whatever lah.

My current MP3 playlist is mostly songs from FireBomber featuring songs from the Japanese animation Macross 7. You should me a fan of Macross series. Been watching the first Macross series (through downloads of course) which was aired on TV in the 80s, a Macross Movie: Do You Remember Love, Macross Plus, Macross Zero (whee!!!! Finally, a 3D version of VF-1S Valkyrie) and now Macross 7 which I have just finish with the last episode. Nice music in all this different series. I bet my next target should be buying and assembling Macross robots model kits.

Talking about Model kit, it seems I have more Gundam and only 1 lonly Macross...

I know how it is when you were young and can only afford to window shopping at the local toy store, I am so desperate to get those toys home to play but do not have the money and my parents were pretty restrictive on spendings for toys. Eventually I resort to carefully opening the packaging just to get a close feel of the toys. If I were to have my way than, I could have the whole collection of Transformer, Starcom, Centurion, Mask, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Ghost Buster toys, Legos.

Alas, Riccardo grew up, study hard than went to work for some government organization. With a monthly salary close to 2K coupled with Performance bonus, mid year bonus, year end bonus I could have went for toy shopping every weekend. Sadly the strong desire for "Collect them all" have been dampen by the realization that Riccardo was already a grown up man (or is he) and its time to be the filial child, to take care of his parents and the household needs. Yet again, its not the issue of whether Riccardo is in good financial position or not, its just that Riccardo was so hard programmed to save for raining days. Especially for contingency that Riccardo experience in the past that need to drain my so call "National Reserve".

Last time got time, no money. Now got money, got time, but cannot any how spend. Wah.....

Talking about money. Have you ever felt a time when you spend money on something and later regret it? Its call spending on Impulse or spending by the devil. At that moment of time the devil (your impulse and desire and emotional) make you commit the money while the angel (rational thinking, calculative) is totally weaken. I like to say that there is always the Devil and the Angel involvment in our decision making. When the Devil took over your mind, you don't seems to have any control over your action untill its over when the Devil is gone and the Angel appear to tell you "Hey, what the fuck you just did? Its wrong ok? Don't do it again." Thats realization and regret. I think we all must strengthen the Angel and weaken the devil and in Religion will we find the methods. Buddhist, Taoist, Christian, Catholic, Hindu, Islam...its only through constant prayer, studies, commitment and devotion can we all strengthen the Angel in our heart. Not just a once in a month or once in a week affair. The daily thoughts of god will ultimately prevent us from frequently stumbling into the dark like others.

Kanna wrongfully summon! 天啊！

Dear Sir/Mdm,

Hi there, I am Mr Riccardo Tan Jian Wei, owner of motorbike with license number FZ4494Z. I recieved a summon for my motorbike on the 15/01/2006 at 03:34PM. The parking area, which my motorbike was summon, is opposite Cineleisure, Grange Road. My motorbike was summon under "Rule 4(1)#" which indicate that my vehicle was "Parking without displaying any valid coupon(s)".

Please allow me to appeal against this summon. I am aware that coupon have to be displayed at this parking lot everyday including public holiday and have properly place a valid parking coupon on my motorbike as required. I am riding a Honda Wave 125cc and have clamp the corner of the parking coupon underneath the motorbike's seat with all the tear off tabs clearly visible. I am of course surprise when I return to my motorbike at a later time to find a summon attached to the bike's ERP unit.

I understand that currently the parking attendants are from a private company "United Premas" and the company's parking attendants might have miss the coupon that I placed.In the past, I have placed the coupon in the same exact spot and back than the regular URA's "Auntie" was still very very active and hardworking here but they have never miss the parking coupons I placed and thus save their time and energy printing the summon.

I would really appreciate if you withdraw the summon after reading through my appeal. Do let me know if you need any photographic illustration of the spot on the motorbike where I place the parking coupon, at less it will help give you a visual clue of where the coupon is placed. Hereby thank you for your attention and wish you good health and have a great day at work.

Year 2006!!! Yeah!!!

Dear blog,

I hope you have been able to send my thoughts, my opinion, my views, my feelings, my fortune, my adventure, my misfortune and my lame story to million and million of people around the world! Yes, you are very well connected to everyone but is everyone well connected to you? Anyway, on behave (and also through you) I like to thanks everyone for visiting this blog since its introduction 2 years ago. Lets all strive for many good years ahead as what our country ruling party PAP (Play and Play, Pray and Pray, Pay and Pay) always tell our fellow citizens.

Many downs and few ups for me from Nov 2004 to September 2005. If your visitors have read every single one of my entries, I am sure they have a very very good impression of what my misfortune are. "The sails on my ship might have been battered, the hull crack, the stern been rip off, the bow riddled with bullet holes from Captain Jack Sparrows pirate ships, the floor leaking BUT I did not sink! Manage to muster all the remaining effort I have and reach a port town to have the battle exhausted ship repair... " Ah... now all properly fix up with a new "Jolly Roger" (Skull with a cross bone) flag raised, I will soon again embark on my privateer journey through the high seas tomorrow, in short....back to work. (Hope you guys like my metaphor of life).

Of course the Captain of the Ship Major Moron Riccardo (thats me!) did not fail to consult my astrologist on the up coming sea conditions and whether there is any bounty out there for my head...



Hmm...looks like all I need to do is to steer the ship in a steady course, be very focus on my destination for the year. It also mention that I will be able to profit from the wood industry, does it means I need to built and sell lots of boats and ship or maybe make coffins? Ok, the key point here is not to make multiple investment and not to lend money....please... where the hell I am going to find any capital in doing so? I am pretty broke from fixing up my ship.

"One should eat less pungent and game foods"-No meat and no hunting this year, I rather go fishing than and probably eat more seaweeds.

"One must pay attention to security at home and avoid travelling alone at night"- Easy, just stay home at night and watch the house!

"Lucky color is Beige, White, and Green" - Better start painting the ship

"Lucky number is 1, 3, 4, 8. F*** my previous bike numer was 4183!!!

With all this proper guidance for the year 2006, I am sure it will be a smooth sailing journey this year.
