Timeless moments of Singapore F1 Race

The most memorable image of the F1 race will goes to Ferrari's Massa for driving off from the pit stop with the fuel hose still attached. In the process knocking over one of his pit crew. In an interview with the team manager during the race, his concern was not who is at fault (later confrim to be the pit crews) but more importantly was his pit crew injured. Ferrari's team manager stresses the importance of his team safety and welfare above the race at the closing of the interview. Looks like the second time Team Ferrari rips the fuel hose at the pit stop.

When all other teams are using the traditional "Stop and Go" pit stop sign (or whatever its call), Ferrari uses a semi-automatic LED system which requires the pit crew to press a button for green or red. Looks like an accidental pressing of the button results in Massa unfortunate drive off, ripping off the fuel hoses and dragging through the entire pit lane.

Lesson learnt, don't fix things that are not spoilt. If the traditional flipping "Stop and Go" board serves fine, stick to it instead of using fanciful LEDs. Maybe there is some advantage in using the latter but 2 incidents with Ferrari prove otherwise.
