No to Lasik surgery!

After doing countless only research, I finally put a BIG "NO" sign on doing or even considering doing LASIK surgery on my eyes in an effort to eliminate myopia. Its is consider a medium to high risk operation that still have some un-desireable effect on the eye even if the surgery was any sucessful. Worst case, you will become blind and depressed and suicidal!

A technology approved by the US FDA so that a new multi-million dollar money generating machine can be put all around the world at the expense of the welfare of the victims. Ever wonder why the eye surgeon or doctors will never insured or gureentee you in any ways if the operation fails? You can't find it in the fine prints of the contract or even openly advertise on the newspaper. I seriously think that all this eye surgreon knows the risk involved but money is all so important right now. Where is the Ethnic here? I pity the lady who, months ago, went for Lasik surgery but end up with a blind eye. However, she was so ignorant of the TRUE knowledge of Lasik to the point that she actually blame it on herself instead of the doctor for the implication she burden right now.

Are you willing to pay S$3000 per eye and letting nature choose between a clear 6/6 vision and blindness without a chance of reversal or would you rather just stick to spectacles and contact lens which are at less 99% save? Don't be ignorant, the TRUTH IS OUT THERE!
